Gautham Ashok

I plan and control the schedule and cost of large waterfront developments. Primavera P6 baselines, earned value reporting, and the kind of delay analysis that still stands up when it reaches a claim. Based in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman.

What I do

Four things, applied to civil, architectural, MEP and marine scopes on the same programme.

Schedule development and baseline control

Integrated construction schedules in Primavera P6, built from a work breakdown that survives contact with site. Baseline approval, critical path analysis, scenario planning, and work packaging across disciplines and specialist subcontracts.

Progress, earned value and reporting

Weekly and monthly dashboards, S‑curves, SPI and CPI, cash flow and resource histograms. Reporting packs written for a steering committee, not for a planner — the variance, the cause, and the recovery on one page.

Delay analysis and change control

Impact assessment for variations, disruption and delay events. Forensic schedule analysis, extension of time support, mitigation and recovery strategy, and the contemporaneous record that makes the entitlement arguable.

Technical office and BIM‑based quantification

Shop drawing review against IFC, drawing registers and approval workflow, RFIs and material submittals. Quantity take‑offs and BOQ support tied to value engineering, with Revit‑based clash coordination feeding the sequence.

Projects

Waterfront hospitality and residential developments in Dhofar, Oman, delivered with Salalah Beach Tourism Development Company (SBTDC) under Muriya.

  1. AMAZI Phase 1

Live – current · Planning & Project Controls Engineer

Luxury waterfront villa development of 211 units with full infrastructure and complete civil, architectural and MEP works. Baseline ownership, progress and earned value reporting, and sequencing against design issuance and material readiness.

  2. As Sodah Island

Live – current · Planning & Project Controls Engineer

Offshore luxury boutique hotel development across an 11 million sqm island, supporting engineering, construction planning and marine logistics for phased mobilisation — where the schedule is governed by sea state, barge availability and laydown, not by crew productivity alone.

  3. Fanar Views

    · Technical Office Engineer

Forty waterfront villa units overlooking the lagoon and Fanar Hotel & Residences, with full infrastructure, roads and landscaping. Shop drawing coordination, take‑offs and interface management between design and execution.

  4. The Club by Fanar

    · Technical Office Engineer

Five‑star resort extension delivering 123 beach‑view rooms across four clusters, with new back‑of‑house facilities, swimming pool, reception, and utility buildings including STP, chiller and transformer rooms, plus full infrastructure and landscape works.

  5. Laguna Gardens

    · Technical Office Engineer

Community of 239 units with a 39‑unit Zone‑2 extension, Azure — villas with private pools and 120 apartments with a public pool — together with infrastructure, roads, bridges, lagoons, artificial islands and landscaping.
